Aventon Victory, Savannah, GA, ​​Aventon Companies adds to their Savannah portfolio with Aventon Victory, along Victory Drive in Savannah’s Midtown neighborhood. Georgia Pacific Dixie Manufacturing Plant Groundbreaking, Jackson, TN, ​A groundbreaking was held Friday, December 9th at the 900,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art Georgia-Pacific Dixie manufacturing facility in Jackson, Tennessee! The project represents the single most significant investment in Jackson’s history at $425 million and commits to 220 well-paying jobs for Tennesseans. Numerous local and state officials, including Tennessee Governor Bill Lee, attended the groundbreaking. T&H is working with JE Dunn Construction Company on the project. Kiss USA Manufacturing Plant, Bryan County, GA, ​Kiss USA, global manufacturer of cosmetic supplies, is setting up shop within The Cubes at Interstate Centre II in Bryan County. The Savannah region’s quick and efficient access to the eastern region, made possible by a robust logistics network and the Georgia Ports Authority, was a significant factor in KISS selecting Bryan County. T&H worked with Clayco, CRG, and Lamar Johnson Collaborative providing planning, civil design, landscape architecture, water/sewer design for the site.  We also assisted with the GRAD certification for the site. Click here to read more from the Georgia Department of Economic Development 

Redwood Materials, Berkeley County, SC, T&H is excited to be a part of another legendary Berkeley County Government accomplishment! Adding to the nation’s growing #BatteryBelt, Redwood Materials, an anode and cathode battery components producer, will invest $3.5 billion to establish operations in Berkeley County. Founded by Tesla’s former chief technology officer and co-founder JB Straubel, Redwood Materials’ South Carolina campus will create a circular supply chain for electric vehicles, prioritizing recycled materials in production. Congratulations to the team led by the County, Santee Cooper, and the State of South Carolina, bettering the community with the most significant economic investment in the state of South Carolina’s history! We look forward to working with Redwood Materials to move the project forward!

Portside Distribution Center, Summerville, SC, ​Frampton Construction completed the second building at Portside Distribution Center in Summerville. The speculative building is suitable for logistics companies, aerospace and automotive suppliers, defense contractors, light manufacturers and last-mile distributors capitalizing on Portside’s access to I-26 and South Carolina Ports Authority. The rear-load, tilt-wall facility features clear heights of 32 feet, 38 dock doors, four drive-in doors, 142 car parking spaces and 52 trailer parking spaces. MAP International Groundbreaking, A Golden Isles-based nonprofit with an international impact, we were honored to be a part of MAP International’s groundbreaking ceremony this month for a new 40,000-square-foot distribution center located at MAP’s headquarters in Brunswick.

MAP international provides medicine and health supplies to those in need throughout the world. The new distribution facility will double the organization’s capacity to meet worldwide critical medical needs. T&H is working with Lynch Associates Architects and Omega Construction on the project.
