City of Port Wentworth Sports Complex, Port Wentworth, Georgia, It’s official! The most extensive investment in the City of Port Wentworth’s history is underway with a groundbreaking ceremony on February 17th for a 150-acre sports complex – the first of its kind in the City! T&H provided master plan services for the new park, component programming, and client charettes were essential to developing a park program that meets the needs of Port Wentworth residents. Phase 1 of the park will include an entrance on Monteith Road, four multi-use playing fields, a theater, a farmers market space, a concessions building, and associated parking. Read more on Fox28
Harpers Plaza, Seneca, SC, T&H is providing engineering services associated with the planned public space improvements for Harper’s Plaza in downtown Seneca, SC. Last week, Hogan Construction celebrated the “Demo Day” milestone of a previously condemned building on the site. T&H is on the Hogan team for the Harper’s Plaza project, a mixed-use development reflecting the downtown’s historic character and providing an active, public space.
RiverPort Commerce Park, Hardeeville, SC, ​T&H client, North Signal Capital achieved a significant milestone for buildings 5-7 of the RiverPort Commerce Park by securing $75 million for developing the buildings. Located in Hardeeville, SC, just a 13-minute drive from the Port of Savannah, the first four RiverPort buildings are already successfully leased. North Signal anticipates delivery for buildings 5, 6, and 7 by the end of 2023. Read more in Connect CRE
Effingham County Safe Streets and Roads Grants, A $200,000 Safe Streets and Roads Grant (SS4A) will support Effingham County’s Greenway Trail Action Plan. The grant, obtained with the assistance of Thomas & Hutton Grant Administrator Dale Culbreth, will fund a plan to establish recreational trails in the County.
