ACEC Georgia Engineering Excellence Awards 2023

We had much to celebrate at last week’s 56th annual American Council of Engineering Companies of Georgia’s Engineering Excellence Awards! A job well done to Michael “Sully” Sullivan, Jennifer Head, and the rest of the ACEC Georgia crew on a great night.

A great network of family and friends surrounded us as we celebrated Thomas & Hutton’s very own Ralph Forbes as Engineer of the Year – Private Practice and our Hilton Head National RV Resort winning a state-level award and moving on to the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) National Engineering Excellence Awards on June 13, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Washington, D.C. Thank you to our clients at Scratch Golf for their support and the project team – J.H. Hiers Construction, Choate Construction Company, Bihl Engineering, Coastal Surveying, Newkirk Environmental, DendroDiagnostics, Terracon, Grady Woods, and Witmer Jones Keefer.

Congratulations to Pat Wilson (Georgia Department of Economic Development) on being named Engineering Influencer of the Year and to Marcus Sack (M.E. Sack Engineering) on being named Engineering Employer of the Year – Small Firm Category.
