08 Aug T&H’s Newest PE: Megan Cook
Thomas & Hutton (T&H) is pleased to announce its newest Professional Engineer (PE) in Georgia. Megan Cook passed the Principles and Practices of Engineering Civil exam with the Water Resources and Environmental depth examination and satisfied the experience requirements needed to become a PE.
Megan is an Environmental Designer and joined Thomas & Hutton in 2017. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Georgia Southern University. As a Designer, Megan is responsible for planning, designing, permitting, and constructing water and wastewater infrastructure projects such as new water supply and treatment, wastewater conveyance and treatment, and existing utility relocations and extensions.
Megan’s resume showcases her outstanding design work in water and wastewater projects in Coastal Georgia and the South Carolina Lowcountry. These include off-site utilities for Savannah Economic Development Authority’s 774-acre Savannah Chatham Manufacturing Center in Savannah, GA; off-site utilities for the 7 million square foot Georgia International Commerce Centre’s initial off-Site utilities in Bryan County, GA; and on-site water & sewer improvements for the Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America at the Bryan County Megasite in Bryan County, GA.
