10 Sep Rogers Bridge at Chattahoochee River – Pedestrian Bridge project awarded 2024 Project of the Year by the APWA Georgia Chapter
We are thrilled to announce that our Rogers Bridge at Chattahoochee River – Pedestrian Bridge project in Gwinnett County, GA, has been awarded the 2024 Project of the Year by the American Public Works Association Georgia Chapter for Structures $5M-$25M!
Designed for the City of Duluth, this stunning replica truss bridge replaces the historic 110-year-old structure, providing a vital connection between Rogers Bridge Park and the future Cauley Creek Park in Johns Creek. This project enhances community connectivity and represents a significant milestone in local infrastructure development.
This project was a finalist for the 2019 Georgia Partnership for Transportation Quality Preconstruction Design Award for Context Sensitive Planning and Design Including Public Participation Plan and was a 2020 finalist for the Georgia Partnership for Transportation Quality Preconstruction Design Award for Planning and Design of An Alternative Mode Transportation Facility.
