“Over the past 40 years, I have enjoyed having a front-row seat for the fastest and greatest technological advancements related to land surveying in the history of mankind. I am so pleased to have the opportunity to be building and growing a traditional surveying operation for Thomas & Hutton’s Tennessee Region, while at the same time leading the development of company-wide Reality Capture Surveying using UAV and LiDAR (3D modeling) technologies to provide highly accurate depictions of existing conditions for use in the planning and design of commercial, industrial, and residential developments across the southeastern United States.”

Eddie serves as the Surveying Manager for our Nashville region. He began surveying when most field measurements were made using transits and steel tapes (chains), and plats, maps, and legal descriptions were completed on drafting tables and manual typewriters. Over the years he has remained committed to his profession and vigilant toward learning and growing with the latest technology. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience using traditional surveying methods as well as the latest UAV and LiDAR (3D modeling) technologies to produce ALTA, As-Built, Boundary, Subdivision, and Topographic surveys. He earned an A.S. degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Chattanooga State Technical Community College in 1986.
