Our People

Jason Chambless, PE

“It is a privilege to work in a profession where we can make a tangible impact on improving our communities. I enjoy the collaboration process with my colleagues and team members while projects are in the planning and design phase. It makes me exceptionally proud at the end of a project to see completed roads, sites, and buildings that create spaces for jobs and opportunity.”

Jason is a Principal and Vice President of Coastal Civil/Site Development, overseeing Civil departments along the southeastern coast in Savannah and Brunswick, Georgia, and Charleston and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech and joined Thomas & Hutton in 2003 after starting out his career in the construction industry. A licensed Professional Engineer, Jason’s experience in site development includes general consulting, permitting, construction cost analyses, contract documents, preparing technical specifications, bidding, and construction coordination. He excels at infrastructure design with an expertise in drainage and utility system design for large tract development and industrial/commercial parks and sites.
