Lamar Mercer, PE

Lamar is a Principal and serves as the Civil Department Manager for the Savannah office. His experience includes site development and public infrastructure projects for both public and private clients. These projects include the design for highways, streets, neighborhoods, parks, parking areas, water and wastewater systems, and stormwater drainage systems. Lamar earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering Technology from Southern College of Technology and joined Thomas & Hutton in 1998. A licensed Professional Engineer, Lamar brings an in-depth understanding of land usage, entitlements, area comprehensive plans, and regional priorities to every new project. His involvement with professional organizations include Chairman of the Pooler Development Authority.
