Thomas & Hutton assisted Omega Construction, Raydient Places + Properties (formerly Terrapointe), and the Development Authority of Bryan County during the site selection process with Caesarstone at Belfast Commerce Centre. When Caesarstone selected the Belfast site, Omega Construction hired Thomas & Hutton to provide civil site design services for the proposed facility. The Caesarstone site is approximately 45 acres and includes an approximately 279,000-square foot quartz surface manufacturing and warehouse facility. Thomas & Hutton also assisted Raydient with the initial planning, land entitlements, and infrastructure design for Belfast, which is an approximately 1,100 acre industrial/business park located near Interstate 95. Belfast was the first recipient in the state of Georgia to receive CSX Select Site designation. This program reviews manufacturing and distribution development sites along the CSX (a leading transportation company in the US) network that can rapidly utilize freight rail service. Belfast has the potential for more than 7,500 jobs.
