Daniel Island is a vibrant and engaging community-centered place to live, work, and play. Twenty three miles of rivers and creeks, hundreds of acres of parks, leisure trails, and a private country club provide endless recreational options.

Thomas & Hutton  has led the design effort for Daniel Island since 1990 and has been a key team member that created the original master plan and development agreement. We have worked continuously with the Daniel Island Company since its formation, providing a wide range of expertise, including planning, civil engineering, landscape architecture, land surveying, environmental planning, transportation design, and construction observation.  Thomas & Hutton’s expertise has crafted virtually every project completed on Daniel Island. Our creative and innovative staff has designed an infrastructure system that is sustainable, highly functional, and integrated into the island’s parks, trails and walkways.
