Thomas & Hutton, under an IDIQ contract with the Georgia Air National Guard, provided engineering services for the renovation to the CRTC AGE Facility, Building 197. The project encompassed the design of the renovation of Building 197 from a fire station to an AGE shop and storage for the use of the deploying Total Force Wings. Interior design included rearrangement of walls and utilities, fire protection, replacement of doors and window, and upgrade of bathrooms. Exterior design included utility support, pavement repairs, site improvements, and communications support.
This project was registered with USGBC and achieved LEED Silver Certification.
