Hilton Head Lakes Regional Pump Station
Hilton Head, SC
Wastewater

Thomas & Hutton, as part of the Hilton Head Lakes Development, designed a 3,600 gpm Regional Pump Station (including Phase 2 design for future quadplex 6,000 gpm upgrade) for the Beaufort-Jasper Water & Sewer Authority wastewater collection and conveyance system. The regional station was designed as a suction lift station that manifolds into the existing Highway 278 24-inch force main.

The project included the design of a 20-foot by 12-foot wet-well, structural foundation, and pump building, as well as 2,100 linear feet of 20-inch force, 800 linear feet of 24-inch HDPE directional drill crossing of Highway 278, and wet-tap connection to existing 24-inch force main. Our services included the planning with Beaufort-Jasper Water & Sewer Authority on manifold design for existing Highway 278 24-inch force main and future parallel 24-inch force main, design, permitting, bidding, construction observation, and project closeout.
