Point Hope’s day-to-day residential and commercial development activities are being managed by the DI Development Company, Thomas & Hutton has an extensive working relationship with DI spanning four decades. We have provided a wide range of expertise supporting their creation of authentic, dynamic communities with a unique sense of place. We have been a key team member bringing the same culture to the Point Hope development since 2002.

Thomas & Hutton crafted the original master plan and zoning documents to guide Point Hope’s coastal contemporary style. To support the community existing in harmony with native Lowcountry landscape, we provided a wide range of additional services including civil engineering, landscape architecture, GIS, land surveying, environmental planning, transportation design, and construction observation. This resulted in infrastructure that is sustainable, highly functional, and integrated into the community’s tree-lined streetscapes, trails, playing fields, and playgrounds.
