Thomas & Hutton provided master planning, site design, surveying, permitting assistance, landscape architecture, and construction services for the 1.5 million-square foot Target Distribution Center in the TradePort East Business Center. The 155-acre site includes 815 car parking spaces, 1,125 truck parking spaces, 18,291 feet of storm drainage, and 58.6 acres of paving. The landscape design focused on buffering the employee parking area from the adjacent roadway, as well as providing plantings that thrive in the parking areas in order to provide shading and minimize the heat created by the parking areas.
