Our People

Ralph Forbes, PE

“Engineering is a great profession. The decisions you make today last a lifetime and the results are passed down through future generations. Every decision you make affects a community’s livelihood. A quote that always sticks with me is ‘make sure the decisions you make today outlive you.’  It brings the utmost satisfaction knowing you make a community better by just performing engineering. No other profession allows you to visibly see results unfold from paper to concrete and provide jobs and welfare to a community.”

Ralph is a Vice President and Principal and serves as a Savannah Regional Director for engineering, planning, and design of large tract development and industrial/commercial sites. He earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, began his career in the construction field, and later joined Thomas & Hutton in 1991. A licensed Professional Engineer, Ralph has expertise in site selection, land analysis, infrastructure in developing industrial parks, and community development.
