21 Mar T&H Hosts Second Engineering Explorer Post of the Year

T&H recently hosted their second Explorer Post of the year with Boy Scouts of America. 10-15 juniors and seniors from various SCCPSS Schools were chosen for the Explorer Post program through BSA. The Explorer Post program allows students to “explore” a career related to their field of interest. Thomas & Hutton provided student exposure to a career with an emphasis in engineering. Jason Chambless & Jennifer Roach organized student activities including the Wards Floodplain Simulator and a Straw Bridge Design & Construction competition. Students were able to learn and work together while gaining exposure to the engineering world. This is our 10th year serving as an Explorer Post.
